3. Awarded FIRST place and I received Cash Prize Rs. 10,000, in the International Coastal Cleanup Campaign 2009 held on 19th September 2009 at Chennai Marina Coast with full Involvement.

4. Acted as the Chair-Person for the technical session during the ICBRT – 2010, at Nirmala College for Women, Coimbatore.

5. Participated in the “Nurture Nature” a seminar on Environmental Concerns held on 26th February 2010, at Balamandir German Hall, T. Nagar, Chennai.

6. Participated in a Three – Day skill-based training program held from 1 – 3.3.2010 on “e- Literacy”, organized by ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu in Association with University of Madras sponsored by Emerge Learning Services Limited.

1. Dr. S.Natarajan becomes the first staff of Guru Nanak College to present Research Paper at  International conferences  abroad.    (China) Dec. 2009, International Mycology Congress , Edinburgh, Scotland.(2010), Melbourne 2011 and Philadelphia in 2012
2. Flora of Guru Nanak college campus was prepared
3. Students were given the opportunity to attend Indian Science Congress held in January 2008 at Visakapatnam and in January 2010 at Trivandrum..
