Guru Nanak College (Autonomous) (GNC) enthusiastically welcomed its new incoming student cohort for the academic year 2024-2025. Approximately 2101 new students, their parents, college staff,and the Chief Guest, Mr. Udaya Shankar (National Lead, NASSCOM, Co-founder & Trustee of MAATRAM Foundation) and Ms.Samitha MV, Career Mentor and IT Professional gathered at the Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Auditorium for this momentous occasion in multiple sessions over the course of 9 days. The primary objective of DEEKSHARAMBH was to create a warm and welcoming environment for the new students, their parents, and the college staff (both teaching and non-teaching). It aimed to achieve this through a multi-pronged approach: Welcome and Orientation: Provide new students and their parents with a comprehensive introduction to the college, its faculty, and its academic offerings. College Achievements: Showcase the college's academic excellence, highlighted by its impressive rankings and accreditations. Feedback and Interaction: Facilitate open communication by gathering valuable feedback from new students and parents regarding the admission process and their initial impressions of the college.
